Bacoor holds 1st cooperative summit

Close to 200 cooperative members attended the recent 1st cooperative summit organized by the Office of the Municipal Mayor and the Bacoor Municipal Cooperative Development Council (BMCDC) held recently at Bacoor Coliseum in Barangay Molino 3.

Mayor Strike Revilla, guest of honor and speaker acknowledged the significant role played by cooperatives in nation-building and people empowerment. “Because of cooperatives, the skills and self-reliance of cooperative members are improved towards attaining the goal of improved quality of life.”

With the theme, “Nagkakaisang Kooperatiba sa Bagong Bacoor” the summit focused on the general welfare of members as they embark on new possibilities that will further strengthened social and economic benefits of its members.

Mayor Revilla was joined by BMCDC honorary vice-chairman Avelino Solis, Chief of Staff (Office of the Mayor) Hector R. Loyola and representatives from the local government, Development Bank of the Philippines, Cooperative Development Authority, Department of Trade and Industry-Cavite, and Bacoor Chamber and Commerce.
