The Civil Service Commission (CSC) Compostela Valley Field Office will stage its 3rd Trilogy of events on Thursday, (Feb. 23) to highlight the awarding of seal of excellence to the Municipality of Nabunturan.

CSC Provincial Director Richard Ortiz said the CSC ComVal’s Trilogy set on Thursday at the Social Hall of the Provincial Capitol will combine three important activities, among which will be the handing over of the Citizen’s Satisfaction Center Seal of Excellence Award to Nabunturan.

The trilogy will also feature the 4th CSC ComVal Pasidungog Award and will release the sixth issue of CSC Comval Journal, the official publication in newsletter format of CSC Compostela Valley Field Office.

Ortiz said the Municipality of Nabunturan is one of only three government agencies throughout the country that got “Excellent” ratings in the Report Card Survey conducted last year “to determine government agencies compliance to the Anti-Red Tape Act (ARTA) and to ascertain the effectiveness of their respective Citizen’s Charter.

“In fact, the municipal government is the only local government unit in the Philippines that rated ‘Excellent’ in the 2011 RCS as the other two are national government agenceis based in the Visayas,” Ortiz said referring to Nabunturan.

CSC Assistant Commissioner Rogelio C. Limare will award the Seal of Excellence to Nabunturan.

CSC Compostela Valley will also be handing over Pasidungog Awards to “outstandingl” performing Human Resource Management Practitioners of government agencies based in the province.

The CSC ComVal Journal, on the other hand, features the lives of lowly government employees he called as “unsung heroes” who had shown dedication to government service. (PIA-11/ Jeanevive Duron-Abangan)
