The municipal government of San Antonio is boosting its tourism industry as one of its priority programs aside from developing the road network to far flung barangays in this town.

Municipal administrator, Eric Wagan, said Mayor Aniano Ariel Wagan wants their municipality be known as ‘resort capital of Quezon Province.’

At present, there are six resort and leisure parks in the town owned by residents that create employment opportunities for the people, according to Wagan.

He urged resort owners to improve their services and maintain their resorts properly to attract more tourists in the town.

Meanwhile, to maintain peace and order situation in their municipality , barangay tanods and other volunteer groups are deployed to ensure security and safety of the tourists visiting the province’s tourism destinations. (JMG, PIA-Quezon)
